Boston Circus Guild’s ’Cirque of the Dead’ for Halloween
The Boston Circus Guild celebrates Halloween with a macabre and tasteless night of circus, live music and gore at "Cirque of the Dead" on 10/31 and 11/1!
This Oct. 31 & Nov. 1, the Boston Circus Guild (BCG) presents a Halloween spectacular like no other. Don’t miss "Cirque of the Dead," where the undead feast on human flesh, vicious creatures lurk in every shadow, and sadistic sociopaths search for new victims to torture.
"This show is not for the faint of heart!" says Creative Director Chuck Lechien. "Some of the most talented circus performers in all of New England will be bringing tasteless, low-brow horror to the masses. Our aim is to tickle your funny bone...before ripping it out of its socket!"
Hosted by Mistress of the Dark, Mama Bang Bang, this gruesome journey will feature live music, burlesque, aerials, acrobatics, contortion and more! With never-before seen acts, new performers, and two bands, "Cirque of the Dead" has it all.
Johnny Blazes and the Pretty Boys will put a funktastic twist on some spooky standards on Halloween night while the ever-raucous Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band will rock out on Friday, Nov. 1st.
Creative attire strongly encouraged, and if you look like a zombie the rest of the horde is less likely to eat you. "Cirque of the Dead" is coming for you, and no one will escape!
Boston Circus Guild (BCG) is a collaboration of over fifty musicians, artists, circus performers, dancers, and event producers from the Boston area. BCG members regularly perform at prestigious events and venues throughout New England including the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Pfizer, Cirque du Soleil, and The Boston Bruins Foundation. BCG produces its own events throughout the year and is available for hire for parties, weddings, and special events. www.bostoncircusguild.com
